Built for the Next Step
Brady Schutter keeps proving his breakout was no fluke. After emerging as a key bat for Hudsonville as a sophomore and following it with a strong summer with Elite 17U Perry, the Class of 2028 first baseman was named a Fall Games Top Performer by Prep Baseball Michigan.
At the event, Brady led all hitters in max exit velocity (100.5 mph) and average exit velocity (93.7 mph). Then he carried it into the games, going 3-for-3 with a triple.
This offseason, Brady is taking the next step in the Elite Athlete Development System. In EADS, his hitting work is paired with strength training and recruiting support. Every athlete is retested every 8 weeks, so progress gets measured, not guessed. The focus for Brady is building on the bat speed and consistency he showed at Fall Games and turning loud contact into a college opportunity.
Congratulations, Brady. We're proud of the work and excited for what's next.
